Reinstalled and Schedule Scan still taking too l ong

I was having trouble with the schedule scan since an update to build 1.181.3.3057 (or something recent like this). I have looked on the customer support forums, and had a few replies to questions I have asked on here. I tried to use the removal tool and then re-download and install. I have re-installed and everything was exactly as it was when I removed it, AVG dashboard looked the same, as in the pc tune up option still was red saying the trial was expired, even though I'm pretty sure I never selected it to begin with, but I digress:

As of this morning, I have removed and reinstalled AVG, I have selected to have the schedule scan start at 5:15 pm (17:15) as I have had it do for many years. The scan usually runs and takes about an hour. Recently the schedule scan (since a recent update I believe) would stop at 1%, 5%, 25%, today it got to 50%, the scan was running for over 2 hour today. Manual scans take close to an hour and go through no problem 100% complete, but I want the scheduled scan to run the way it used to.

I have not added or removed any other program, Malwearbytes is still there as it has been for many years. I am attempting to put it in the exemptions, but I have little hope this will work. Why is the schedule scan not working as intended or as it has done in the past?

Also, we are unable to find any active subscriptions of AVG PC TuneUp, so we request you to remove it from Control Panel to stop getting the expiry message.
