Reinstalling AVG protection after HD format

However, now my problems are clearer : in the opions menu I have no Activate or Reactivate items, but only 'My Account' , 'Buy now' and 'Info...'

At the moment my trial period has expired, but I could not find an 'Activate' item in the menu before expiration as well. (AVG installed in Italian)

Thank you for contacting us. Do you have AVG Zen installed on your PC? If so, please uninstall it because your AVG Internet security does not include AVG Zen. I formatted HD and reinstalled Windows Vista Home.
I was not capable to reinstall AVG Protection Pro (AVG_Internet_Security_742.exe)
At the moment I am running AVG Antivirus Free for which the trial has expired yesterday, and I cannot find out how to restore my two-year licence for AVG protection pro.
What to do ?

Hello Pietrofelice,
Please run the  AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Once uninstalled please follow the instructions on the article http://avgread.me/1DXPL5z to reinstall your AVG program.

great, it worked !
after running AVG_remover and 1 rboot, running the avg internet protection setup, when I clicked the 'custom setup' , prompted for my licence and went on fairly.
