can anyone advise how I can use an 'automated removal tool' to remove AVG from a broken PC and use the product key to reinstall on the replacement - or if there are any other ways as I have reached my limit on subscriptions

Hello Adrian, I could see that you have purchased AVG Internet Security. Please uninstall it using "AVG Remover" tool by clicking on this link - http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2 and install AVG Internet Security in other PC by clicking on "Paid Version" under "AVG Internet Security 2015" in this link - http://www.avg.com/us-en/download .
