Rejected emails

I repaired the AVG - the version is now: 16.121.7859.
I still have the same problem. After AVG finishes scanning an email it appears in the Inbox (presumably when it’s OK) but sometimes nothing happens – the email does not go to the Spam or any other folder. Is it possible that AVG displays the message that it is scanning when there is no new emails to be scanned?

Hello Tomasz,
We regret for the inconvenience. We would request you to confirm whether all your incoming emails are get rejected or from particular domain. If the email gets rejected from particular domain, we would request you to check with your spam folder and let us know the status. Thank you.

I can see that AVG is checking an email. No new emails are added to the inbox. Where do  the rejected emails go?
