The developers at Avast/AVG are either unaware of the meaning of “century” or there’s a bug in the software making that button useless.
In layman’s terms, as next century implies “in 100 years”, the “Remind me next century” option should logically mean that I wish to be reminded again sometime in the future, specifically 100 years from today. The restart reminder should not occur again until the 22nd century.
Yet, I am continuously spammed with the AVG prompt to restart my computer every day, and sometimes multiple times a day, as if the developers believe “next century” means “later today.”
Please address this issue. It’s both confusing and frustrating.
