Remote Access Shield Problem

Hello Gary,
Thank you for contacting AVG support community.
I apologize for the trouble caused.
Could you please confirm if all the three computers are under trusted network in AVG program?
We will certainly help you out.
Thank you and keep us updated.

Dear Support,
I have been using AVG Internet Security for many years but I have an issue with which I
need your support.
I have a main computer which stored all of my important files and two other computers which access these files set up in a WORKGROUP.
Until recently, as long as each computer that had AVG trusted the local network (which they do)
my other computers could access my file server with no problem.
To access these files I use either UNC or mapped drives.
However, today, one of my machines was not able to access my main computer files.
Access was denied by the main computer.
On investigation, I looked at the main computer and found that AVG had popped up
a warning saying that the REMOTE ACCESS SHIELD had BLOCKED the incoming connection from
192.168.1.94 (IP address of my other machine).
So I went to the REMOTE ACCESS SHIELD section in FULL PROTECTION part of SETTINGS and
tried to use the ADD function to add the IP address that was being blocked.
This made no difference.
I cannot see how to get the RAS to allow my computer access to the main computer.
So for now I have had to switch off the RAS on my main computer's AVG.

Can you please tell me how to allow access for my other computers as this is not a situation
that I wish to leave unresolved.

I have tried following the instructions for RAS in your FAQ's but still doesn't work.

Thank you in advance, Gary

Thank you for the efforts, Gary.
Yes, unless you select the "I trusted this network" option maunally it will show as "Open Firewall" (I do not trust this network)
We've sent you an email with further details. Please check your inbox/spam folders to find the email and use it to get back to us.
Thank you and keep us updated.

I will check to make sure but if any machine is NOT on a Trusted Network AVG would display an "OPEN FIREWALL" message on the main panel would it not?
