After the last AVG update my desktop machine (win 10) no longer accepts a remote desktop connection from my laptop. If I disable the firewall it connects fine. What do I need to change to get it working again. This is important for my work. Many thanks.

We request you open AVG Zen interface and click on AVG Internet security circle on it.
On the AVG Internet Security dashboard please click on Firewall and then click on "Reset to Default"
Please check whether the issue after performing this function.
