Removal of anti virus search exceptions taking literally hours

Hello John,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Have you installed the free, trial or paid version of AVG antivirus?
Did you install the latest 2016 version of it?
We request you to completely reinstall the AVG antivirus using our AVG remover tool.
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.

I have an exception in my preferences that I haven't set so in orser to complete a more complete scan I tried to remove it last night however it was still processing an hour later so I reset AVG and tried again it is midday now and still going.

The exception is for - 
/Volumes/uTorrent-41795/uTorrent.app/info.plist

I don't think i have ever installed uTorrent on my mac, though if I had it was a long time ago, I can't physically find that location inorder to hand search or delete.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreceated.
