I am currently in the process of installing AVG TuneUp on my Netbook running Windows7. As part of the procedure I am asked to uninstall the old out of date AVG PC TuneUp, which I agree to by clicking on "Yes". The process of uninstalling continues and then halts to ask "Are you sure you want to uninstall AVG PC TuneUp now?". There is a warning that some maintenance tasks would be lost, however I agree to the uninstall by clicking on "Yes". The uninstall process continues but keeps returning time and again to the page asking "Are you sure you want to uninstall AVG PCTuneUp.". Unfortunately without an uninstall of the old AVG PCTuneUp the installation of the new AVG TuneUp cannot proceed.
I have tried removing the old AVG PC TuneUp via my computer's Control Panel, program uninstall feature, with similar results.
Any ideas how I can proceed with the uninstall of the old AVG PC TuneUp? to allow the new software to be installed?
