May I know the AVG program you have installed on your computer now (control panel > program and features) and also share a screenshot of the error message to assist you further. I tried out AVG PC Tuneup and after the trial I tried to un-install but this failed.
So I turned to the AVG remover and removed the program.
This worked to some extent. Every time I start my PC I now get a error window from AVG Diagnostic saying
"Following AVG process failed:
- avguix.exe
Would you like to send the report to AVG for analysis?"
I tried downloading and running AVG clean but this found no AVG products on my PC.
How do I fix the failing AVG process?
