I have AVG Internet Security software. I do not have an installed search bar. I mainly use Chrome but noticed it when I openned firefox and maxthon browsers too. I am currently running a full AVG scan but it did not find anything on C: drive. I have windows 7 home 64 bit software.
How can I remove "a.thanksearch.com". I get a pop up from malwarebytes that malicious web site was blocked for outgoing. It happens for all my browsers.
I have the Ad Blocker Plus plug-in installed to prevent the pop ups. Could that be causing this problem?
