When uploading from a Digitech slide scanner XC4881 via Photo Impressions 6 I inadvertently blocked (via AVG) the upload. How do I remove this blockage so I can use the device?

Do you get any error message from AVG when you try to access the scanner?
If yes, please share the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the same to assist further.
If not, please disable AVG temporarily on your computer and check if you are able to access AVG.
To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and use the slider to "Disable Protection".
