I want to remove my card details from the avg account incase of any accidental transactions . I don't understand why would it get saved and why don't we have the rights to remove it at user end .

If you prefer to delete your credit card details from AVG database, please visit this link, enter your email address and click "Request Access".
Then, please check your inbox/spam folders for the email > click "Go to Portal" button > Support > scroll down and submit a request for data deletion.

Please be informed that AVG will not make any unauthorized charged.
You will receive email reminders before being charged.
If you wish we can cancel the auto renewal of this subscription.
So that you will not be charged for the renewal.
Let me rephrase the above steps to delete your account along with their data.

But before that, you have an active subscription.
Since you have an active subscription, you account deletion request will be denied.
