I'm on Mac OS 10.10.3. The Mail app hangs 100% of the time upon launch. Apple support tells me that it is because kernel extension com.avg.OnAccess.kext is failing to load. I have uninstalled AVG AntiVirus, AVG Cleaner, and AVG Linkscanner, but com.avg.OnAccess.kext is still failing to load and Mail is hanging. How can I remove com.avg.OnAccess.kext from my system?
I sent this in a question to AVG support almost a week ago, but no response back yet, so trying here. Any ideas?
Any one, any one at, have an idea on how to remove this kernel extension com.avg.OnAccess.kext? It has now been almost two weeks and nothing back from my support request to AVG. I'm stuck w/o a working Mail app for now.
