Remove duplicate files

Hi Thierry,

We're glad to help you with this.
Please let us know if you're experiencing this issue in Windows or MAC.
If it is in windows, let us know the version of AVG TuneUp installed on your computer. (Goto control panel - Programs & Features - Programs - Check the version beside TuneUp)

Hi Thierry,

Thank you for being patient.
Our senior team tested the old version of AVG PC TuneUp and confirms that the "auto-select" option works perfectly.
They consider that there should be some administrative rights chosen for your operating system or something should block the deletion.
We will be able to analyze the logs, but couldn't assure whether we will be able to identify the root cause.
Since the latest version of AVG TuneUp doesn't have this feature, we request you to delete the duplicate files manually.

When i use the remove duplicate files, in order to delete duplicates I need to select one file at a time and delete it. If I use the auto-select option, it selects multiple files but when i press "remove selected" nothing happens.
I have closed all applications whilst doing this.

Hello Thierry,

This looks like a bug.I will have this checked with the senior technical team. I'm afraid, this wouldn't be fixed if confirmed as bug as we have the latest version of AVG PC TuneUp. We always recommend our users to use the latest version of AVG product. I understand, the specific feature is not available in new version. However, let me confirm if this with the team. Appreciate your patience.
