Remove malware threat

Following a scan I got the following message,
Win32:Malware-gen
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\wuapp.exe
How do I remove this threat, I presumed AVG would have done this following the scan.
When I press resolve nothing happens.
Anyone with suggestions please.
