If all else fails, add the the following lines to the hosts file (usually found in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc)
0.0.0.0 www.tech-connect.biz
0.0.0.0 tech-connect.biz
This will redirect all attempts to connect to these URLs to the local machine, which means they will fail immediately (unless you're running something like Apache, in which case you know what you're doing!).
A bit gor-blimey, but it works.
Hello Tami,
Do you have our AVG Antivirus program installed?
If yes, is it free, trial or paid version?
Are you getting repeated popups and webpages redirected when you browse in the internet?
If yes, do you have this issue on a single browser or on all of the browsers?
How do I remove malware called tech-connect.biz/
I have the paid AVG Anti-virus version 16.101. It's been installed and I have ran it several times but it is not finding the malware. It is in all my browsers but I use Firefox. I have gone through a few tutorials online to remove it but have been unsucessful.
