Remove web tuneup

Hi just installed AVG free  Windows XP, and also Web Tuneup but cannot remove Web Tune up - not listed as an extension under Google menu but is shown in my list of programs but I get not reaction whatsoever when I try to unistall.
Anyone had the same problem and was able to resolve >

Thanks but I tried this to no avail as the extension didn't show up and cannot uninstall from my control panel Add or Remove programs either - so I don't know where the program has gone ?
any more ideas ?
