Removing avg and reinstalling

However, please let us know the reason that made you think that your computer/AVG is compromised.
Did you notice any abnormal activity on your computer?

Hi wondering how we could remove avg and reinstall.  We are concerned our computer was compromised and possibly avg was compromised.

I am sorry to know to know about it. As you believe hackers got in to your computer. I suggest you to run a scan. Please check to run Deep scan and boot time scan. To know about running scan refer | AVG (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=avg-antivirus-pc-virus-scan&q=scan&supportType=home)
The scan will detect and let you know the status of your protection.
If it has detected the presence of hacker it will sure share you the steps to resolve. Please run the scan share its results.
