When I get to the AVG site it says AVG is in passive mode, because another product is still in use. I have not extended my subscription with Avast but do not know how to remove their folders, to let AVG do its thing.I am not a geek so can you help please.
Hi Noel,
As our remote support is currently not available due to covid-19 outbreak, we'll be glad to help via community post.
I suggest you to open control panel and check if any third-party antivirus is installed on your PC. If found, I suggest you to uninstall it and check.
Also, check the C drive for any third-party antivirus folders. If found, you can manually delete.
Then, please restart your PC and check the AVG Internet Security interface. If the issue still persists, I have sent an email requesting more information to check further.
Please revert to it as requested for further assistance.
