Sorry to report that AVG has no regard for existing customer loyalty.
I have a renewal coming up in August for £78.99. As I only paid £19.99 last year I unsubcribed thinking that this increase is excessive.
As soon as I unsubscribed I had a meassage come up offering me the same deal for apprx £63.00.
I checked the AVG website and low and behold the same deal for new customers is £49.99!
I entered into a Chat with a representative of AVG, Antonio, who offered no apology and simply said that AVG would "honour" the £49.99 deal. Well thanks a buch - how generous to "honour" a deal advertised on the website. With that Antonio abruptly terminated the Chat with asking me if I had any further queries or if I was satisfied with this outcome. Well Antonio I am not.
