Renewal gone wrong

Hi there, 
I cancelled my old subscription to renew it later and change to a 1 device subscription from a 10 device subscription. My remaining 59 days have not been added, so the new subscription is already activated. Shouldn't it activate after the expiry of the old one as I clicked on "renew now"? I'm trying to contact the help center but the chat seems unavailable and the only phone numbers are in UK, US and AUS, but I'm in NZ. What do I do?
