I do understand the inconvenience this may have caused but I appreciate your efforts so far. Please complete the activation of AVG program with new license number as suggested in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-AntiVirus-or-Internet-Security-with-a-new-license-number . Then please update AVG to latest definitions as suggested below.
Open AVG Internet Security, click on Menu->Settings->Update. Click on Update against Program definitions and Virus definitions.
Renewed subscription to AVG Internet Security but wasn't able to get updates installed before old subscription expired. I have downloaded installation files for new subscription and tried to install, but computer says installation is already in progress even though nothing is being installed. Not sure what to do next…
