Renewal of Internet Security

Hello Glen,

I understand that you are unable to activate AVG Internet Security installed on your computer using the new license number. Please open AVG Internet Security installed, click on "My AVG" and select "My Subscription". From here you can see an option to "Enter your new license number", enter the same to activate the product. If you see your email address instead of license number, please logout from your AVG MyAccount, restart your computer and click on "My subscription" to enter your license number. If you face any difficulties, please let us know and we will assist you further.
sorry this still isnt working

i followed the repair guide but my AVG still looks like this which i think is the free version ?

Although it says that internet security will be enabled after re start it doesnt work and i have no option to re validate.

Thankyou for the response but when i open AVG Internet Security i dont have a "My AVG" option at the top of the screen. The only option i have is Menu, on this drop down there is not a My Subscription option. Do I need to delete this version of AVG and re install ? My order number was [Order Number Removed] if this helps ?

I renewed my AVG Internet security before Christmas and this is shown as paid in my account, I have been issued with a new licence number but I cant find the location in the email to enter the new licence number.

When I click on support I don't get a re activate option ?

When I open AVG on the laptop I get a warning message that Protection is Disabled but will be enabled as soon as the PC restarts. However when I restart the PC AVG still states the same message. 

My account history states the licence does not need to be renewed until Dec 18 and when I try and update the software the message I get is that it is already up to date.

I'm now almost up to the 30 days within which the licence must be renewed !

any ideas whats wrong ?

Sorry to see that the issue still persists.

To resolve the issue I suggest you reinstall the AVG Internet Security. Please follow the steps provided in this article: How to troubleshoot issues after upgrade to the latest AVG antivirus product

Note: Please run the AVG Clear first and then the AVG Remover

Once uninstalled, please install the AVG Internet Security by following the steps provided in this article: How to download, install, and activate AVG Internet Security

I see that your AVG Internet Security has not been updated to the latest version. I suggest you repair your AVG and check if that fixes the issue. Here is an article with the steps to repair your AVG: Repair AVG

Also please make sure that Auto Update is enabled in your AVG Internet Security. To Automatically update your AVG Internet Security, please make sure that you have selected Automatic Update for both Program Update and Virus Definitions under Internet Security>Menu>Settings>Update>Settings
