I did as you suggested and when the computer restarted, I am getting the same stupid renewal notices saying expires in 6 days. I am almost at my wits end and ready to ask for a full refund for this program and the PC Tune Up I purchased at the same time. I will then get another company's program. Here is a screen shot of what I am still getting.

I renewed my Internet Security and on the website it shows expiration date in 11/2018 but the product still pops up message that it expires in 7 days. I uninstalled and then reinstalled but still get the same message.
Is there anything I can do to get the product to update the expiration?

Cynthia,
I'm sorry to see that the issue still persists.
It is because the Old License Number is still in the AVG Internet Security.
Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Please open AVG Internet Security>Menu>About.
2. Please click on "Log out" on AVG Subscription Tab and then you will be able to find "Remove License" option. If the Logout Option is not available, please click on Remove License.
3. Click on it and wait for the process to get finished.
4. Once it is completed please restart your PC and get into subscriptions tab to click on "Log into account"
5. Enter the AVG my account credentials and check whether it activates your recent subscription.
