Am now wondering if my msg will actually get to someone at AVG or just a community link. Can anyone tell me please. Thanks
I was advised in July that the automatic renewal of my licence had failed. My fault I am afraid I didn't alter my bank details to a new account. I contacted AVG by phone on 19th July 2015 and renewed my licence for 24 months (£59.99) - (License number removed) refers. (Order No.removed). I stupidly thought that once I had renewed my licence and then changed my bank details no further action would be taken.
Then I get an email advising that my licence had been renewed automatically for 1 year (£39.99) - (order No. removed) licence (number removed) referring. I cannot understand why this would be done when I already had a current licence unless you are just trying to obtain more revenue.
I would be grateful for a refund of £ 39.99 for the erroneously taken money.
Your urgent action would be appreciated.
Irene Gilder

Many thanks. It was my fault for not reading the Invoice, Order Confirmation & License properly. I see now that one says "tune-up", but to confound matters I received an email at 14.16.04 on 16th August advising that the license expires in 15 days and telling me to renew it and without doing anything I get the Invoice, Order confirmation & License at 17.06.45 on the same day. All sorted now thank you just slightly confused. Will download tune up.
Hello Irene, I apologize for the difficulties. You have renewed your AVG Internet Security on 19/07/2015 through our phone support, however you have been charged for the auto renewal for the AVG PC tune up program. These two are two different programs. If you would like to get refund for your program, please apply for refund through the following link https://support.avg.com/RefundForm . Thank you.
Hi Irene, I really appreciate your efforts and patience. I am extremely delighted to know that your issue has been fixed now. Please do not hesitate to get back to us for further assistance. Thank you.
