We're here to help. It could be possible that AVG app is not synchronized with your AVG MyAccount. Open AVG Internet Security, click My AVG > My Subscription. Logout from the app and confirm it. If you see an option to 'Remove license number', click on it and confirm it. Then log back in to check if the issue is resolved.
If you do not get 'Remove license number' or if the issue persists, I'd request to uninstall AVG Internet Security and re install it.
I have clicked on the "renew now" tab and paid for my renewal. The instructions for activation say to simply log in to your AVG account and it will happen automatically. I have logged in and it still says my protection has expired.
