I could see that your AVG Internet Security (1 computer) license was renewed on 22nd Jan 2018. Did you reactivate AVG using the new license number which was sent to you in a confirmation email? You might have not done this which could be the reason for the expiry notice now.
I'd request you to uninstall the expired AVG program completely by running AVG Clear tool and re install it using the new license number. Click on this link for instructions on how to download and run the AVG Clear tool.
Then refer to steps in this link on how to download and install AVG Internet Security.
Regarding the lesser price of the product, it must be an ongoing offer that you are looking at. There will be no discount for renewal.
I have paid to renew my prescription. It left my bank account in Jan 2018 but I have a message to say I'm not protected and it's offering to purchase again at a lower price than I paid. Not sure what to do?
I have today been sent an email with confirmation but when i try to install the download it tells me it's already installed. Do I still need to uninstall as first suggested. In addition - how come I never received the email initially?

Katherine, I have resent the order confirmation email and invoice from my end.
Please check if you have received the same.
Note: Check in spam and junk folder as well.
If you already have latest version installed, it need not be reinstalled again.
Open AVG Internet Security installed on your computer and click on "My AVG->My Subscription".
Check if AVG shows this expiry date: 2019.2.6.
If yes, then your computer is completely protected by AVG.
The email must have got delayed to receive to your email account.
