We apologize for the inconvenience caused. To resolve the issue, I suggest you to remove AVG traces using remover tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After running AVG Remover, you may need to manually uninstall/delete any remaining unwanted AVG applications from 'Control panel' and also 'search' for a folder "AVG Remover"(usually in 'C' drive) and please delete it manually. And then I request you to install your AVG program by downloading from http://www.avg.com/us-en/download .Please follow these instructions and let us know the status. Thank you.

I recently renewed my licence and today my computer first of all told me I am not protected then it flashes cancelled and disappeared from my computer altogether apart from the icon which I cannot open 
how do I get it back. I am not very computer literate do I need to uninstall and re install with new licence number thank you
