Just correcting a number of typos in my earlier reply to Avinash and adding a little extra, so as to make it more intelligible :

Hello Avinash.

My original problem was on an XP machine where I'd undertaken a full AVG remove followed by a full re-installation because I suspected AVG might have been causing a separate issue I thought I'd encountered on the XP machine.  Right click now produces NO context menu whatsoever.  The only way one can temporarily suspend AVG is via OPTIONS & ADVANCED SETTINGS.

However, given the context of your reply above, I have just looked on a Windows7 machine which has not been 'removed' and the 're-installed' (ie it has had AVG loaded for months/years) and again, right click now produces NO context menu whatsoever.

Both the XP and Windows7 installations are running build 16.121.7858   It seems to me there has been a recent change in the software that has led to right-click having no effect. Is this correct ?

Thanks

Hello, I'm trying to repair my AVG Free installation and get an error message as follows  0xe001f94e

The installation seems to be working OK except that right-clicking on the tray icon does not result in a short menu offering "disable AVG" as one of the options as it always used to.

Thanks.
