Repeated dangerous / clean statement

Laszlo,

Thank you for the screenshots. We appreciate your efforts.

Please try to initiate a full computer scan using AVG product and check the result.

Let us know the version and exact name of AVG product you have installed.

Open AVG Antivirus -> Menu -> About -> check its version. Is that a free or paid version?

what status do I check?

Laszlo, we actually requested you to download the file again in-order to check whether the popup from AVG appears.
As you posted, you have downloaded the file again and it seems that the popup didn't appear this time.
Do you confirm that the problem is now resolved?

Yes, it is the same fcmp.exe in the same folder, as I said in my original post "The program didn't change, I compared to my backup."
It is originally on https://www.gammadyne.com/cmdline.htm#fcmp - version 4.3 of FCMP.EXE (released June 8th, 2018), my download date is 2018. 06. 21. (YYYY.MM.DD.)
The fresh downloaded file binary identical with my file, comparing with fcmp.exe and ExamDiff.exe.

And what the virus lab says, he had to get the file in both cases - hopefully they were well received and preserved them.

Thank you for the information.
Could you perform virus definitions update of AVG Antivirus free and check the status?

Hello, the article says about Hardened mode in exceptions, but in my AVG this doesn't exist.

I already said in one of my previous answers the followings:
"It is originally on https://www.gammadyne.com/cmdline.htm#fcmp - version 4.3 of FCMP.EXE (released June 8th, 2018), my download date is 2018. 06. 21. (YYYY.MM.DD.)
The fresh downloaded file binary identical with my file, comparing with fcmp.exe and ExamDiff.exe."
[ sorry, I can't find how to quote]
So I repeated, downloaded again fcmp.exe,  411032 byte, no problem, identifcal with my file, what I use.
.

I can't confirm that the problem is now resolved, because it doesn't appear, when I download it - I downloaded it already in 2018 - but when I execute it "in a batch script that makes a decision based on the result of the program." (quote from my original post).
Now the last thing, that AVG said during the execute of this batch script, that "this file might be dangerous" on 2019.03.31. Previously on 2019.03.28. AVG said that dangerous, then on 2019.03.31. that clean, and on the same day, some hours later was the last "dangerous" popup.
In both dangerous cases I clicked "Run anyway", and now the batch script, executing fcmp.exe runs fine, there is no dangerous popup. I don't know where store AVG that it have to "Run anyway" this program.
Now I wait for the "clean" popup as in the 1st case.
The question is, why said AVG in the last case that the program is dangerous, when some hours earlier said it's clean, and the program didn't change, as I said in my original post.

I can't consider this alternate dangerous / clean popups normal, how can I exclude fcmp.exe dangerous messages forever … ?

There is no problem at this time, I look forward to AVG examine the file that I submitted. Hopefully AVG won't say it again later that the file is "dangerous." Only time can tell.

Hello Laszlo,

We regret for the inconvenience caused.

How did you send the file to the Virus laboratory?

Please send us the screenshot again.

Laszlo, could you check the download status of "FCMP.EXE" application?

Thank you for your understanding, Laszlo.
Let us know if you need any help.

Yes, it seems that this option "Hardened Mode" is not available for free version.

Is the issue resolved after adding it to AVG exception list?

Thank you for clarifying us with the screenshots, Laszlo.

We would like to know whether the same file is reported Threat as well as clean repeatedly?
