Repeated pop-ups

Free version…  already provided a screen shot from my tablet's camera as a screen shot taken from the desktop itself is not available as the pop up can not be made the 'focus' of the the item to be captured; it either captures my desktop background or the taskbar, neither of which included this pop up for the AVG security settings.

Hello Mega,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Do you use a paid or free version of your AVG program? If you receive the pop-up again, we request you to provide us screen-shot (http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV) for us to identify the issue. Thank you.

I repeatedly get a pop up that says, "View security settings to strengthen protection".  I have chosen 'No Thanks' and gone through 'Show me' to no avail… a little while later it pops back up, even if I have a game going. How can this be stopped???

Mega,
Thank you for the information. The pop up is an official campaign from AVG to encourage our free version users to try the PRO features of AVG. Many of our users find these offers useful: they rely on them to upgrade to our higher levels of protection. By doing so, they help fund your free version of the protection.
We also handpick offers from our other products or those of partners we feel can add to your security or digital experience. If you have suggestions on how these offers might be more relevant to you or less intrusive, please let us know. We are always working on improving your experience with AVG.
Thank you for understanding.
