I am using AVG free with IE11 on Windows 7 Home Premium on an HP Pavilion dm4 laptop

I am encountering the issue that it keeps detecting and notifying me, every  few seconds, of
" We've blocked captcha.min[1].js because it was infected with BV-BitCoinMiner-BG [PUP] "

This is despite my moving it to quarantine several times, and closing every every obvious program (IE11, Firefox) which connects to the internet (I have opened Windows check-for-updates since though, prior to restarting the laptop).  Thus task manager shows shows no applications which could cause such an event. (Oddly, there is an iexplorer.exe *32 process running which task manager says is using 847,000K bytes of memory ??? )

Why is this occurring and what should I do ?

(Please do not be confused by my other post regarding a different computer where I needed to even start AVG)

Thank you for the info, Edward.
AVG detected temporary internet file on Internet Explorer.
Open Internet Explorer -> Settings icon -> Internet Options -> General -> Browsing History -> Delete -> Enable "temporary Internet Files & websites files" and click delete.
Restart your device and check its status.

I have discoered (again) that by selecting option > keep blocking the pop up disappears: is that a way to cope with this issue ?User-added image
