On 11 June 2024, I downloaded a trial version of AVG Antivirus to assess its ability to address my specific issues. After a few days, I concluded that it did not meet my needs and decided to cancel the trial and any future subscriptions on 21 June 2024. Following my cancellation, I checked my account and confirmed under the "Subscription" section that there were no active subscriptions.
Unfortunately, I did not receive any email confirmation when the trial commenced or when I cancelled it, which leaves me without supporting documentation to attach here. However, the absence of any active subscription is confirmed when I log into my account.
Despite cancelling the trial, I was still charged for a renewal £54.99 via PayPal from Digital River Ireland Ltd on 11.08.2024.I have contacted them and they said that I have to refer to AVG for the refund.
I tried to call AVG over the phone but nobody answer the call. I couldn't find an email for the support team.
Please help me get the refund.
