We apologize for the inconvenience. We request you to uninstall AVG completely using AVG remover tool and then re install AVG. To run remover tool, please visit http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2 and click on "AVG Remover" to download the remover tool and run it on your PC. It will ask you to select which product you would like to uninstall. Please select "AVG Protection" and "AVG Performance". Follow the setup instructions to uninstall AVG.
Then follow the steps in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Ultimate ) to re install AVG Ultimate. Thank you.
I bought AVG ultimate from amazon and activated it with no problems…now, months later, a message is popping up saying "we do not recognize your licence number. please re-enter it." i looked at my product information at AVG.com and it's telling me that my product does not have a license number and i should be able to activate it by just opening it and signing in. so after this, i opened my avg software and signed out, then signed back in. the same message popped up again. "please re-enter your license number." What do I do?
