Christoph, i have the same prolem. I just today deinstalled TU 2014, which worked very fine, und installed TU 2015. At the first start rescue center ran, but the TU 2014 back-ups seem to be deleted. :-(. Then i made some changes with the 2015 version and tried to start the rescue center again to look wether it works or not. It works not! The rc starts and then it crashes with a system message " … we try to solve the problem …". Dear AVG people please fix this - TuneUp can not be used without rescue center!

You should never trust any software to "clean" your registry. Very little advantage, very great danger. On some PCs the F8 menu has a "Repair Computer" option if all else fails.
I have a severe problem with the Rescue Center. Everytime I try to start it, the application immediately crashes and I can send an error report. The file which fails to run is "rescuecenter.exe".
Does anyone have he same issue? I urgently need to revert a change I made and cannot because of the crash.

Any progress on this? I reproduced the problem and created the SysInfo file. It generated a 400MB 7zip file. 250MB comes from a single integrator.exe.dmp file and the rest from several rescuecenter.exe.dmp files. Do you really need all of these files? Where are they to be sent/uploaded?
Hi, i think i found out something more about the crash-mistake: After reinstalling TuneUp 2015 and having run the first scan i tested the rc again - and it works. Now i deactivated some programs with the deactivator and tested the rc again: now it carshed. After reactivaring the programs the rc run again. I tested to deactivate only one program - it crashed, no matter which of the programs had been deactivated. After reactivating all the rc runs …

It always crashes on me as well, tested on 2 pc's. Uninstalling/reinstalling PC TuneUP helps, but not for long. Rescue Center will soon start crashing again. I've sent the requested auto-reports. Please fix this.

My iTunes is running just fine because I don't use PC Tuneup, but I'm annoyed that AVG 2015 Free installed 14 MB of TuneUp files that I don't want. There are free products that work much better.
