Reset email not working

I tried resetting my password but i never got the email. 
I tried creating a new account under the same email but it says that the email has been registered.

please help

Your AVG My Account status is not yet confirmed and that's why you can't reset its password. I have sent you an activation email to confirm your AVG My Account. Please check that email and check that works.
