I am sorry, there is no option to reset the AVG interface password.
To regain access to password protected areas, please reboot your PC in safe mode and manually delete the file in the below location.
The file is located at C:\Program Data\AVG\Antivirus\aswResp.dat

I changed the password on my AVG Free, Win10 yesterday and incorrectly wrote down the change. Now I can not do anything, including uninstalling AVG. How do I either reset the password or uninstall?

Thanks so much. I reinstalled AVG free and am up and running. All is working fine. I need to go to sleep now. I will look into the paid version. I only need antivirus, because I am running Malwarebytes for the Malware part of protection. Night and thanks again.

Yes, you have ran the authentic file. AVG Clear tool will delete all the traces of AVG from your PC.
