Hi Julie,
We're glad to clarify this for you.
In order to fix the detected performance issues you may need to subscribe AVG TuneUp separately & activate it.
AVG TuneUp is an optimization tool that helps us to enhance the computer's performance.
However, you will be able to skip resolving performance issues in the scan result.
I have a paid version of AVG Internet Security on Windows 10. I just ran a scan and the last step tells me I have issues with Junk, broken registries and programmes that are slowing my computer down. The only option is to Resolve All. However, I do NOT want to put any programmes to sleep as what AVG considers unnecessary is not what I consider unnecessary. For example Dropbox. I use Dropbox 100% of my time on the computer and I never want it put to sleep. I need it to run in the background and update constantly.
My question is, how can I resolve the first 2 lots of issues without any programmes being put to sleep? Is there another option?

Julie, we would like to clarify that AVG Internet Security product is designed to protect your device from viruses and threats.
It can't resolve the performance issues found on your device and to do that, we have designed AVG TuneUp product.
The performance issues appearing on AVG Internet Security scan is inbuilt feature and it can't be excluded.
It can be done, when you have AVG TuneUp installed and activated.
Ah, so it's yet another advert by AVG to get us to purchase something. Very irritating to say the least. I was able to click 'resolve' on the other issues and they were sorted so I'm not sure why we can resolve all with my current version but to resolve half I have to pay again. Thank you anyway.
