This should be a False Alarm, however we need some information so that we can confirm it.
May I know the name of the AVG program that you have installed on your PC?
Also mention whether it is a free, paid or trial version and confirm us whether you have the latest 2016 version installed.
We request you to update your AVG program once and check whether Firefox and Thunderbird is detected as threat by AVG.


My response: I am unable to update. I get repeated update failed messages. I have the free version of AVG # 16.51.7497. I do not have any problem using Internet Explorer.   Joe
