Restart required - AVG IS Business

My AVG (IS) has been showing 'restart required' for the last few days. 

I have restarted my machine several times 

I do not want to have to remove and reinstall AVG if possible - is there any other way to fix this error

Paul, you have an older version of AVG Internet security.

We have to uninstall the older version using a remover tool and install the newer version of AVG Internet Security.

each time I try to add an image the icon shows as a broken file - if I reload the page my response does not appear
