Re my 2 previous messages about how my comp is stuck on "restart required" after an AVG update; The latest suggestion(s) didn't work, but did slow down (slightly) the "restart required" pop-ups and messages.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. Please open control panel and check if you have two AVG Protection entries to assist you further.
