Downloading the AVG AntiVirus Free Edition 2015 installer, and running the Repair feature appears to have fixed the problem. My original AVG installed was 2014 from last year, but had been updated on-the-fly through the updating service to the 2015 edition. Running the repair from the 2015 installer itself did the trick.
Thank you,
Asa Jay

AVG AntiVirus Free Edition 2015
Window 7 Professional SP1
Installed a HAM Radio digital mail package called RMS Express. When composing a new mail, the body of the message will not compose. The TO, CC, and subject fields are okay, but when putting the cursor into the body of the message, and try to begin typing, the cursor goes away and nothing happens. The mouse also disappears.
We have found if we add an exclusion for the program and ONLY check Identity Protetion, the compose window now works fine.
What is it about the compose window that Identity Protection could be tripping on but not actually giving us a report about?
Thank you,
Asa Jay
