I'm having this exact issue also. I've uninstalled and reinstalled avg and it doesn't change anything or help the issue. I don't have avast installed on my pc. Even if I try to skip the threats it just pulls them up again. I can't get through a scan because of it. Malwarebytes is not finding an issue. If I try to resolve the threats it tells me avg couldn't resolve the threat. Either the file is moved or no longer exists or I don't have permission to move it…
Hello Jan & Michelle.
Thank you for taking the time to communicate your concern with AVG and I apologize for my delayed response. My name is Shawn and I am writing to you on behalf of the AVG Senior Support team.
I shared with our development team your concern, and it was determined to be a false detection, which has since been resolved.
I trust this explanation clarifies you concern. Regards, Shawn
Yesterday I ran a deep scan using AVG internet security, and it found a rootkit threat.
The problem is that it can not remove the threat. See the images below. When I click on "Resolve all" it says that "the file has been moved, it no longer exists, or you don't have permission to move it.". Also from this point on I can not resume the AVG scan. When I reboot my computer and redo a deepscan, it detects the same threat. See the images below.

I can not find the "C:\avast! sandbox" folder on my C:\ drive even if have enables show hidden folders?
Is it true that AVG uses this folder in its software?
In the hope of removing this threat I updated my AVG virus (version 201104-4) definitions and software (20.8.3147) and redid the scan but I get the same result. I have also done the scan with the latest version of Malwarebytes, but Malwarebytes does not recognize the threat.
Could you help me get rid of this threat?
Help would be much appreciated!
