Hello Winter,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. We wish to keep you informed that the issue caused due to recent Microsoft Windows update (build 14393),and our developers reported this issue to Microsoft web developers and they promised us to fix this issue. The fix from Microsoft should go live this month (November), and it will be distributed via Windows Update. Your patience is much appreciated. Thank you.
MY PC running Windows 10 and AVG begins a schedule scan of the entire computer. This worked smoothly for several months. However, currently, and suddenly,it now scans for an undetermined amount of time, right now in excess of 10 hours, and indicates it has made only 1% progress. It says it is scanning rootkits. It did this a couple days ago and I shut it down and upon restart all was well and it did not resume any type of unusual scan. However, currently it is as described above. Any ideas what is going on. Should I just let it keep cranking away?
Hello Jim,
