RU4 has been picked up a few times by AVG on my computer recently and I've noticed that during the day prior to AVG finding RU4 that my system had been running a bit sluggish.

So a couple questions here:

  • I was wondering why that after AVG removed it the first time, it continues to come back?
  • Does anyone have anyone have any specifics on where it comes from?
  • What can I do to keep it from returning?
I have all remote access type services disabled that I can think of, and I do not use anything that leaves bandwidth exposed for anyone to piggyback onto like Skype so it must be coming from a website being visited. I'd sure like to know which one so it can be avoided in the future.
