Just going to disable AVG when I use Quicken until you guys & girls at AVG figure it out. Thanks in advance
Hi Mark,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please click on 'see details' in the threat notification that you receive from AVG & then share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.
Meanwhile, please ensure that the AVG program has the latest patches applied to it.
Open AVG program - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions, at bottom right corner - Restart computer after successful update & check.
I have the exact same issue, started a few days ago. AVG - PLEASE fix this or I'm switching AV vendors.
This just started popping up, when i launch Quicken. I've run other malware/virus protection and doesn't find anything. I see this as a 'false positive' in old Win7 2017 posts, so would have thought this is resolved? (i'm on win10).
Thank you for sharing us the screenshot, Mark.
We'd suggest you to submit a false positive request by visiting this link.
A group of analysts will review the file & whitelist it, if it is found to be safe or goes through clean notes of AVG.
For further queries, feel free to write back to us.
See attached. Tons of users are logging this same issue in Quicken forums (because its causing quicken errors on startup).. Most think its AVG 'aggressively' targeting this run32dll as a threat and doesn't occur if AVG is turned off.
Same issues as above. Have to disable AVG to get Quicken to run correcly. Just started 3 days ago after a AVG virus update. No way to create an exception.
