Good days,
I just got a warning about rundll32.exe and compattelrunner.exe We didn't download or run anything recently, and warning popuped just after windows started. Those are windows core files so I really get scared. My pc was already so slow on running webpages on browsers such as chrome, firefox for a while. But there were nothing wrong with internet speed.

Thank you - there seems to be some confusion in posts on this site about what/where exactly is the 2017 version. Can you answer - I am licensed - should I download from my subscriptions area on avg.com?

Charlie, I appreciate your efforts. Please follow the steps in this article | AVG to reactivate the license. If you face any issues, please sent me the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of your AVG dashboard to assist further.

Hello, Thank you for your quick support.

Well I'm a bit confused. I uninstalled it, then downloaded new one from the link you gave. I picked internet securrity when it asked during the installation instead of free version when it asked. (maybe I should have picked free one) Then it succesfully installed but there weren't any place for me to enter my license code. So I connected to avg as it asked with my mail add pass. It connected but still 30 days warning stayed still. So I think my lincense maybe not suitable for 2017 version I don't know. I uninstalled it again and downloaded as suggested on my profile page which was

http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Internet_Security_1930.exe

I don't know which one is 2016 which one is 2017, it really doesn't really give a clue. It's weird and complicated. As version numbers on links, mine looks newer than the link you gave (1930 - 1817)

I may send another ss again, but now it looks same with before so it's probably 2016.

Jane, thank you for providing the screenshot. Please click on "Protect me" and the file will move to quarantine. After that please scan your computer once with AVG and check if it's detecting the same file. If is not detecting any threats, please upgrade your AVG to 2017 http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product .

@Bhuvaneswari Vairavan -
I've followed instructions, and now new version shows 17.5.3022
However, the "subscription" shows expired 4/24/2017, but my actual license shows valid until August 24, 2018. How can I update product to show correct licensing info?
Dodan, sorry for the confusion. Please send the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of AVG Interface installed on your PC. I will check and assist you further to activate the program with the license key.
