The issue is that I do have the box checked so AVG can automatically heal/remove virus but unfortuantly it tells me it dected the threat and I have to amnually remove it. Any sugesstions of why this is happening since I do have the options checked NOT unchecked. Thank you

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
You have to uncheck an option in the scan settings of AVG to ask your permission to remove the detected threat.
Open your AVG program
Click on Options at the top right corner.
Select "Advanced Settings" and to the left select "Scan"
Below the Scan you will have the "Whole computer Scan" click on it.
To the right the first option with check box is Heal/remove virus without asking me, please uncheck this option and click on "Apply" and finally "Ok"
Please check with this and do let us know the status of it.
I run daily scans at night. I have "dont ask me before removing viruses" checked off but every morining when I check for any threats found they are not automatically removed until I select too remove them. This is very annoying and cant seem to fix the issue. I wants AVG to run the scan & remove it automatically. When I uncheck & recheck the option and apply it, it seems to work for a day then reverts back to where I must remove virus detected manually. Any suggestions?
