Safari unable to connect to websites after 18.2 upgrade

I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. I've sent you an email with further instructions to send us the diagnostics from your computer so that we can escalate the case to our Senior Team to analyze the AVG logs and provide you with a resolution for the issue. Please also let me know the Safari Version and the Add-ons along with your Mac OS Version.

After update to 18.2, Safari unable to connect to any secure webpage with WebShield running.  With WebShield turned off, everything works fine.  I have exported and re-imported the AVG certificate per detail found on the discussion boards, and that has not helped either.  

I have already uninstalled AVG on another device as a result of this issue.  At this point, my Macs are useless with protection enabled.  Please advise if anyone is aware of a resolution.  Thanks.
